Debra Lamb is an award-winning actor and producer. With a career spanning 40 years, Debra has worked with acclaimed directors Kathryn Bigelow, David Lynch, Paul Verhoeven, the iconic John Hughes, as well as independent filmmakers such as Adam Rifkin, John Reign, and many others.

After graduating from Santa Monica High School, Debra embarked on an acting career. She immersed herself in the study of acting at the Van Mar Academy of Motion Picture and Television Acting, whose students included Emmy winners Bryan Cranston, Mariska Hargitay, and John Larroquette. During her numerous interviews, when asked what advice she would give to actors just starting out, Debra always stresses the importance of training, and has studied with several acting coaches herself throughout her long-standing career.

With over 100 film and television credits, Debra has amassed an impressive body of work playing a wide range of characters but is most notably known for her roles as strong authority figures. Her endearing performance as Marion McMurtry in the multi-award winning western, Showdown in Yesteryear (2023), garnered her two Best Actress awards, and her performance as the downtrodden wife of a violent gangster in Blood Covered Chocolate (2022) earned her another Best Actress award. Debra also won two Best Supporting Actress awards for her portrayal of the real-life mother of the titular character in Finding Nicole (2024).

An accomplished author, Debra’s stories have been published in Dark Beauty magazine during her five-year stint as a writer/contributor from 2010 to 2015, and in over a dozen anthology books.
